What is Rehabilitation and why is it different from General Vet Practice?
Canine rehabilitation is not a standard part of general veterinary practice – it’s a dedicated area of expertise, just like physiotherapy in human medicine.
It requires additional training, certification, and a deep understanding of how movement, pain, and healing work together.
Most general vets are not trained to provide the type of focused, therapeutic care needed after surgery or for chronic pain conditions.
