The DMC Team

DMC is a collaboration between Dr Malcolm Ware and Ashlee Callander from Canine Freedom and Mobility who have worked together in a previous setting for over 10 years.

Together we have improved the lives of countless dogs and cats – restoring comfort, movement and confidence.

Our collaborative outcome focused care has bought peace of mind to owners who had run out of options and hope.

Each patient is treated like one of our own, with genuine compassion and a commitment to achieving real, lasting results.

What is Rehabilitation and why is it different from General Vet Practice?

Canine rehabilitation is not a standard part of general veterinary practice – it’s a dedicated area of expertise, just like physiotherapy in human medicine.

It requires additional training, certification, and a deep understanding of how movement, pain, and healing work together.

Most general vets are not trained to provide the type of focused, therapeutic care needed after surgery or for chronic pain conditions.

That’s where we come in.

At The Dog Mobility Clinic, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions is our core focus.

We use advanced therapies and structured treatment plans designed specifically for dogs recovering from injury, surgery, or degenerative conditions – helping them regain function, reduce pain, and enjoy life again.
