Online Consultations
Online Consultations at The Dog Mobility Clinic
Not everyone can travel to Seymour to see us in person – but that doesn’t mean your dog has to miss out on expert mobility advice. Our Online Consultations, performed by Dr. Malcolm Ware, give you access to professional guidance from the comfort of your own home.
How Online Consultations Work
Before we can book the session there’s some information we need from you.
- Copy of your Dog’s relevant Veterinary Records
Before your appointment, you’ll need to provide us with your dog’s veterinary history along with any diagnostic results (such as X-rays or lab reports). This helps us understand your dog’s condition in detail. - Zoom Consultation
Your consultation will be held over Zoom, giving you the chance to discuss your dog’s mobility issues with me. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and share concerns. - Tailored Guidance
While we cannot provide a formal diagnosis (as a physical exam is an essential part of a diagnostic process), I can:- Interpret the information you’ve provided
- Offer advice on possible next steps in treatment
- Suggest whether further diagnostics are needed
- Recommend practical strategies to support your dog’s mobility at home
Who Online Consultations Are For
Online consultations are particularly well-suited to:
- Owners who live too far from Seymour or cannot travel
- People who have already seen their vet but would like a second or even third opinion
- Cases where no formal diagnosis has been given and owners need clarity on possible next steps
- Owners wanting reassurance or more information about their dog’s condition
- Families looking for professional guidance without the stress or cost of another clinic trip
What You’ll Gain
- Expert review of your dog’s history and test results
- Clear, practical advice on the best way forward
- Peace of mind knowing you’re not facing mobility issues alone
- Guidance tailored to your dog’s individual needs
- A compassionate second (or third) professional opinion when you need it most
Cost
An Online Consultation costs $280 AUD, including the review of your dog’s history and test results through a One Hour Zoom session
